The Huffington Post: “The 10 most beautiful places in Croatia” – Trakošćan and Croatian Zagorje at the 3rd place!
American Huffington Post published a list of “10 most beautiful places in Croatia”, and Croatian Zagorje and Trakošćan took the high third place.
Croatian Zagorje was described as a picturesque region north of Zagreb, with many medieval castles, vineyards and thermal spring. It was also recommended to explore the historic town of Krapina, tour the traditional wine taverns, visit the fairy-tale Trakošćan Castle or to take a hike through the scenic highlands.
